Reading Groups

We officially started out reading groups today! I am always excited when we get these groups going. Being in a reading group really helps the motivate the students to read and participate in the group. We will be meeting in our groups Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 30 minutes. During this time they will start reading the next chapter and discuss what they read the night before. Also they will fill out a sheet individually before they meet as a group so I can monitor their reading. Please encourage your child to do the reading. Getting behind will be really hard for them to interact with their groups. Also I always love having parent volunteers at this time. We meet in our groups from 10:00 to 10:30.
